SubhanAllaah, So I was coming back from picking up my CPR,First Aide, and AED license from schooland while I was driving a red male cardinal bird slams into my windshield. I was not even speeding, going about 30-35mph and pull into a neighborhood where I know a guy I go to school with. I turn off the car and look at the poor thing. Hes on his tummy looking at me through the windshield and I first is to help but how. what if I try to pick him up and he bite and snaps at me. So I call my mom and then he tries to flap around and obviously he cant fly because he could not leave the windshield and finally he stops. My mom tells me to go a vet if hes alive and just lying there which he does for a few minutes. Finally, He just crashes on the windshield between the hood and the wiper and stops breathing. SubhanAllaah, how death can come anywhere anytime, I thought he would have been a little injured and ok since he was flapping around and moving his head so its not like he broke his neck or anything but instead he dies. This wake up call of we can die anytime anywhere in any state is real WaAllaahu Mustaan and May Allaah protect us from the punishment of the grave, Allaahumah Ameen. So I went to another guys house I knew borrowed a shovel and dug a 1 foot hole in the ground and buried the poor bird, May Allaah have mercy on this bird and May Allaah forgive me if I caused harm on one of his creations Ameen.

On happier note, I received finally wa lila hil hamd a phone call today from one of the 20 schools that I applied for Grad school and have a phone interview with them on Monday May 5th at 10am central time. So I will begin to go through some mock questions and buffing up my responses to them, InshAllaah khair.

Al Hamdillaah I got 94 on my practical for Athletic Training Exam. 100 on the Arch, 87 on the Ankle, and 90 on the Shoulder Spika. SubhanAllaah, After taking my last Final in my career (unless I go to grad school, which I have yet to hear back from anyone seriously interested), I was walking to my car and was like Man SubhanAllaah this is it…..im done….no more school…its the straight up real world, get a job work, work (if your like me in the summer time, work 6 days a week 10-12 hours a day), and who knows maybe a girl will come along the way, Allaahu Alim. But ya so Im thinking man, this is it.. on my own, here on out……It hit me hard man, no more school, not having to worry about money nor food or anything just my salah and school…..

Graduating Saturday InshAllaah, going home for few days then off to one of the job offers I got for the Summer working and living away from my parents and siblings. I have my younger brother InshAllaah coming with me, hopefully him leaving his non-Muslim friends for the summer and staying and working with me might get things to where they use to be before I left for College, with this All leading to Khair, InshAllaah Khair and everything is from Allaah SubhanaWaTaalaah and I Ask Allaah to help me and bless me with what lies ahead, Allaahumah Ameen

Exams/Finals/Tests/EOG/EOC/

Man, it is the worst time of the year, SubhanAllaah and Im graduating. I hate studying, esp Dunya type of studying because you dont get any Hasanaat studying for Dunya stuff versus like studying the Quraan and Hadeeths. I could study that all day long but unfortunately that is not quite possible. Anyway, 1 more Final InshAllaah, Lab Practical for Athletic Training, I have to tape an ankle, arch, and the 3rd one out of a hat, InshAllaah it will be something simple like a shoulder spika, ankle pressure wrap, knee wrap, or elbow wrap.

During exam week in the past, it has been movie catch-up time but this year, I have been fighting that urge and listening to some of the lectures from the Mashaaykh over the internet. So far, I have listened to 1 lecture and watched 4 movies (End of Days, Donnie Darko(<~~Wierd Movie by the way), Predator, and Fear). I know, you guys prolly think Im a movie buff and I use to spend way too much money my freshmen and sophmore year going to bestbuy every tuesday buying the new releases. Al-Hamdillaah I dont have this type of desire anymore like I use to and now do it every here and there. I realized how much money I have wasted in those 2 years doing that, when I could have benefited that money for other things like making upgrades on my car, putting money into the savings account (Marriage fund is what I would like to now call it, Al-Hamdillaah), Sadaqah for the Masajid, or buying books from Darssalam or from some of the other Islaamic publications out there.
